First and foremost, please note this is a Monoecious variety. This type of hemp has been selected for hermaphroditism, and has been in-bred to create genetic lines that show Male and Female sex organs on the same individual plant.  This was done primarily with grain and biomass varieties that needed better pollen coverage which significantly increased yield in those categories within these genetic lines.

If these plants pollinate other hemp or cannabis varieties on the property where they are grown, or neighboring properties, they will pass on the hermaphrodite trait to the progeny (offspring) of whatever it pollinates. So if you have any cannabis or hemp breeding projects, or you like to save seed from your crops, I do not recommend growing any Monoecious unless you want to introduce that trait.

Futura 83 is a new European variety from Hungary developed in 2021, primarily for fiber and biomass, with a longer growing cycle than its predecessor, Futura 75. This cultivar also has above average seed production which gives it dual-crop potential.  Northern climates tend to grow more fiber, while warmer climates produce more seed and biomass. Futura 83 also reportedly performs better in a humid environment.  It produces a long strait stalk ideal for textiles and mulching into animal bedding.
